So, you guys know I am crazy about this man. I worship the ground he walks on.
Unless, the ground he walks on is my clean floor. Wearing his boots. His dirty boots.
The boots that have been, Lord knows where.
The boots that are covered with dust and dirt, and most likely some form of....well, you don't wanna know.
Let me show you.
I cleaned these floors a few hours ago.
Today's lesson...I love the man in the boots more than I love clean floors.
The End!

Very sweet, and as it should be!
ReplyDeleteWe gotta take the bad with the good! My Motor Man builds race engines, so instead of the "you don't wanna know", I have grease, honing oil, RTV (adhesive)..... some of that stuff just will not come out of clothes!

Yep, texwisgirl, I wouldn't have it any other way :)
ReplyDeleteDianna-I hear you! Except I am the one tracking in the grease. I was born and raised in a NAPA Store, and am still running it with my brothers. I try to stay out of the machine shop, but...still find myself there a lot!
ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding me I'm not the only one that endures this daily! :)
ReplyDeleteParisBebe-You're welcome-hey, we have to stick together on this kind of stuff-LOL!
ReplyDeleteBoots, wranglers and snap button shirts....be still my heart!
ReplyDeleteOh Leigh-I know just what you're talking about! I'll take the dirty floors any 'ol day, cuz...he is sooooo....well, you get what I'm sayin' (heehee) :)
ReplyDeleteI hear ya, Sister! Except the boots that come into my house track in sand, mud, sticks, leaves, and I hope not much else. But a sure fire way for someone to track in mud is for me to wash the floors. Or spill a full glass of milk. Works like a charm, every time!
