My Couch Woes.
I may have briefly mentioned an incident with my couch, a very, very long time ago.
I love my couch.
Back when one of our dogs was a bit younger, and I'm not pointing any fingers,
but the dog in question, was allowed in the house.
But back then, she was the lone dog on the ranch, and there was no way I was going to leave her outside without a back-up posse.
Then, we somehow obtained another dog.
THEN, we got another dog. You can see that amazing story here. Trust me, if you love dogs, you should totally check this out.
Back to the couch.
I came home one day to this.....
Waaaaaaaaa!
This is not just any old couch.
It's my Eddie Bauer couch.
The one I spent a fortune on.
Ya. That one.
The most tragic thing about this little incident....the couch still looks like this today.
Yes. I just recently took this picture.
Obviously, I'm not very handy with a needle and thread. I am, however, going to fix this, someday...when I learn how to sew....and fix stuff.
For now, I'm just chalking it up to....you know...whatever you chalk this kind of thing up to.
As for the guilty party in this crime, she has outgrown this sort of thing, and has been promoted to Head of Ranch Security.

A Very Special Day.
Twenty three years ago, on this very day, my whole life changed.
For the better.
My little girl came into the world, and....made my world...perfect.
This is my girl.
A few weeks ago, we had a great time helping her get settled in her new home.
All grown up, with a fabulous career and bright future ahead
My baby no more...
A beautiful young woman, instead.
I am so proud of you, and all of your accomplishments!
You really are my dream come true...
Happy Birthday to YOU!
I Love You Tattybug,
Mom xoxoxo

What The Middle Of Nowhere Looks Like
I have mentioned before, we live in the middle of nowhere.
No Walmart for forty seven miles.
No stoplights for forty seven miles.
No Target.
No mall.
No Starbucks, for like one hundred seventy miles.
I've posted these pictures before, but I have a lot of new friends, who have never seen The Middle Of Nowhere.
These photos are a little blurry...but hey, they were taken from a small plane, with a point and shoot.
So, actually they turned out pretty good...thanks to my mother-in-law!!
So, here you go...The Middle Of Nowhere...

That's our place in the middle.
A little closer.
There it is! Cash's Casa. Wanna come help me mow??
