Festive Cashew Pea Salad!

This salad is super easy, and super delicious.  AND... it has bacon in it.

Recipe:

1 pkg. frozen peas
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. cashews
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. Hormel Real Bacon Bits
3'4 c. sour cream
3/4 c. mayonnaise

Put peas uncooked and left frozen in a large bowl.  Add celery, cashews, onion and bacon bits.  Mix sour cream and mayonnaise together and toss with salad.

Easy peasy!

  1. My husband would LOVE this. Growing up, we never ate peas, because my dad has a huge aversion to them. This is funny, because imagine a big burly man not liking something so tiny. I never developed a taste for them, because of this. My husband, having grown up in a normal pea-loving household, loves them in his food. And now our kids do, too.

    Thanks for sharing this recipe!

    1. Haha! My husband would't touch it either....until he found out about the bacon! He will try anything, as long as bacon is involved :)
