Are the men in your life self sufficient? If they are, isn’t that a wonderful thing? I am so lucky that my husband can cook, clean, and do laundry, as good as me. Almost.
We believe strongly that our boys should be able to fend for themselves. Especially in the “food” department. You never know when my husband and I might get stranded in the barn.
Or the bunk-house.
Or the garden shack.
Or the round-top.
If this unfortunate event should ever happen, (hee, hee) we would want them to be able to put something edible together.
Peanut Butter and Jelly 101
First, you have to get the ingredients. Grandmas Jelly. Peanut Butter. Bread.
Then, you have to get supplies. Paper plate. Spoon. Knife. (preferrably a plastic knife)
Smear a generous amount of jelly on one slice of bread.
Smear a not so generous amount of peanut butter on the other slice of bread.
For the finishing touch…
Place one piece of bread on top of the other. This next part is crucial to a perfect Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich.
Firmly, smash the top piece of bread down on the other.
Here is another cooking lesson being demonstrated by Big Daddy.
These two boys will be just fine in the real world.
If I ever let them leave.
