Mama’s Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be…..

Mama’s Don’t Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys Football Players.

Well, maybe that’s a little too extreme.

Hey, we like football just as much as the next guy.  Especially when we have a big ‘ol strappin’ player on the field.

Number 66 happens to belong to us.

In fact, our high school football team had a great season.

We enjoyed going to games and showin’ our support for the team.

Memaw and Pop even drove seven hours from Oklahoma to watch #66.

Wranglers was in charge of cooking hamburgers to feed all of us starving fans at this particular game.

The weather was unseasonably warm for football.  That was perfect for me.
You know, I don’t  like the cold.
Ever.
Anyway, back to the game.
I love this!
And this.
Oh my.  Lots of action.
Lots of testosterone.

And then……there…. is…. this.
Not a happy football player.  Two broken bones in right arm.
Yes, he is right handed.
This did not happen in the game pictured in this post.  It happened a few weeks later in a game being played in another small town northwest of here.  Thankfully, we were only about twenty minutes from an ER.
Oh….We won the game.
                                                                     THE END

He has our sympathy, empathy, whichever means we feel his pain. Our house is nursing a broken leg from the first 7th grade bball game of the season Monday night. Who breaks bones in girls basketball????? We figured with horses, it was a possibility, but basketball???

Best wishes for a very speedy and perfect recovery! Gotta love sports.

Heeehehehe!!!! Your 'the end' cracked this Ozark farm chick up and heaven knows I don't need any more wrinkles. :o)

It looked like ya'll had the perfect day for a football game (says the chick who hates the cold) except for the broken arm. Sooooo sorry.

One of my little granddaughters broke hers in two places just a couple of weeks ago too. She was a spy detector sittin' on the arm of a sofa and her sis set out to destroy the spy detector..and she did! I have eight grandkiddos…never a dull moment! Heeehehehe!

God bless ya'll from the beautiful hills and hollers of the Missouri Ponderosa!!!
