Bustin’ Buttons

As the end of the school year comes to an end, we had the pleasure of going to the 2010-2011 Academic Banquet.

We already knew our fifteen year old son had straight A’s, cause his dad keeps a pretty close eye on that sort of thing.

What we didn’t realize, was he was going to receive The Medallion for the highest grade in his Science Class.

Or that he would receive the Medallion in his Algebra Class.

Or that he would receive the Medallion in his World History Class.

I don’t have the pictures, but he also received this Medallion in his English Class and Computer Class.

He received every….single…Medallion, in every….single….Academic Class!

Wow! The highest achieving student in all of his classes. We are so proud.  Brag!

While maintaining his outstanding grades, he also has played football, basketball, and baseball.

In addition to ALL that, he was Class President.

If that wasn’t enough, he was extremely active in FFA, and received the Star Green Hand Award, which is selected at the District Level of FFA.

Then there is the High School Band…he plays the saxophone.

Then there is the Knowledge Bowl Team…his team advanced to the State Competition.

Oh, and I can’t leave out the Science Fair…his project went to the State Science Fair at CSU.

Now, please excuse me, as there is not one single button left on his dad’s shirt, and I need to get busy with the needle and thread 🙂
