A Surprise From The Pioneer Woman!

Last month I received an email.  A pretty cool email.

It was from Morgan, one of Ree’s helpers.  She informed me that Ree wanted to send me her new cookbook,  A Year Of Holidays, before it’s release date of October 29th.  I tell ya, that Ree is such a doll, and has been so sweet to me.  If you want to read about the first time we met (in person), go here.

Her new cookbook is not only beautiful, it has one hundred forty amazing recipies to inspire you for all holidays, throughout the year.

I was supposed to go see her in Denver tonight.  She has a book signing at The Tattered Cover in Highlands Ranch at 6:00 p.m.  If you are in that area, you really should go!  You won’t be disappointed, I promise!

Last night I finally “threw in the towel” on my Denver trip, and this was our conversation:

My plan was to come home with a couple of signed copies of her cookbook, and have a fun giveaway for you guys.  I will still get that done, it just won’t be as soon as I hoped 🙂
