Tumbleweed Tales
Living in the country has it’s advantages. And trust me there are many.
However, there are few disadvantages.
Okay…maybe just one disadvantage. Tumbleweeds.
A few nights ago, we had a little wind. Actually, it was more like a hurricane. It blew so hard, things actually started falling off the walls inside our house. If you have never experienced stuff falling off the walls at 1:30 in the morning, trust me….it’s a little freaky.
Here are just a FEW of the tumbleweeds.
Outside the bedroom windows.
In the yard.
Packed under the bridge in front of our casa.
In, and around the corrals.
Here’s the best part…NOT.
This is damage to the front of my car. That’s what happens when a big one runs out in front of you on the highway.
When we are blessed with a calm day, this is how we dispose of the pesky little things….at least until I come up with a great invention for them.
THE END
p.s.
Did you know a lady in Kansas actually sells tumbleweeds?
Maybe I should call her.

That's crazy. We never even come close to getting that dry where I live. Haha the grass only dies back for a couple of weeks in the summer.

Glad to know I'm not alone in my tumbleweed situation 😉

That's a lot of tumbleweeds! I saw a little blip on world news awhile back, about the zillions of tumbleweeds stuck on fences – can't remember where that was.

Tumbleweeds are something of which I have no experience. Too bad you can't come up with a use for them. You should definitely call that lady who sells them…although I have to wonder about shipping?
