Country Commute
For you friends who live in the city, and long for an easy commute…..
This makes for a pretty easy trip to work everyday.
Unless it’s a blizzard. Or, the dirt is blowing so hard the State Highway Department is forced to close ALL the highways in our area. (that actually happened recently) Or, two huge round bales fall off a truck and are blocking the road. (that happened, too) Or, there is a skunk family crossing the road.
So, yeah, we have our commuting problems, too.

Pretty! Years ago, one of those round hay bales fell off the back of a pick-up (unbeknownst to the driver) in the wee hours of the morning – before sun-up. A neighbor came along and ran right into it!
