A Trip To The Canyons!

A couple of weeks ago, we took a drive out to the canyons.  Just about an hour away is Carrizo Canyon and Cottonwood Canyon.  It’s amazing how much the land changes in just a short drive from our home on the prairie.

 

 

 

 

We took our nephew along for the ride.

There were actually two roadrunners…the other one was too quick for me!

 

There are numerous Indian writings in our canyons.  Look closer at this rock…

We spotted deer.

 

And big horn sheep.

 

And more deer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This deer had only one antler.
