Snake In The….
You all know….when you live in the country, anything is possible.
I mean ANYTHING.
The husband and I had been working outside all day, and decided to come up the house for a break.
Just as I was getting ready to get comfy in my chair, I felt a strange feeling. You know…that feeling when someone is watching you.
I glanced up and…
So, I did what any blogger would do….ran in the house and grabbed my camera.
I know this little guy is not dangerous, but he still gave me chills!
Just as I was getting ready to take another picture, my husband says, “Hey, you better step back. You know those things jump, don’t you?”
So that…was that. End of story.
p.s. Do they really jump, or was he just pulling my leg? Inquiring minds want to know.

I live in the country too and know what you mean about anything happening:) We had a snake, a copperhead, which is dangerous in the house!!! First thing I saw to grab was a hedge trimmer lol and he took off down a solar screen. Needless to say we sealed up that area right then and there. Then yesterday we saw a bear crossing on our Main Street. My little Granddaughter said very calmly, "I see a bear" lol Crazy but I wouldn't live anywhere else;)

We had a snake in our silverware drawer last year! My screams sent it fleeing the scene and we never found it! I didn't sleep well for a while and still use caution when opening a drawer.

I've never heard of them jumping, but wouldn't have stayed around long enough to find out, most likely. 🙂
