It’s Time For Farmhouse Fall, Y’all
It’s been awhile, friends! I’ve missed you, and this little blog, so I decided to dust it off and blow out the cobwebs. There is a crazy reason for my absence, but, I will fill you in on that another day. For now, let’s talk about the weather… and, my favorite… farmhouse Fall décor!! It’s time to celebrate Fall, and I have been loving every minute of it! Yesterday, it was a balmy 71 degrees, so we worked outside all day. Rustic Fall Mantel Using More Of The Reclaimed Pallet
When my husband was helping me make the box for the fall centerpiece in the last post, I asked him to cut the bottom portion of the pallet into one large section. I had a vision. Rustic Fall Centerpiece Using A Reclaimed Pallet!
Last weekend, I talked my husband into helping me cut up an old weathered pallet. One of the things I wanted was a long box to use on our farm house style table. The cool thing about this box, is I will be able to use it year ’round, by just changing it up. I lined the box with Spanish moss. Then added pine cones, pumpkins, gourds, nuts and candles. You don’t have to use a pallet for this project…in fact my husband is hoping I never ask him to cut up a pallet again, because the wood is incredibly hard! He now says, I owe him…big time. For my…
